red bull art of can 2008

here's another project I'm thinking about... red bull the art of can is on a nationwide hunt for creativity and is open to everyone!

I didn't see any earrings or jewelry in the gallery... very tempting! I have been thinking about designing some jewelry using recycled materials, but I have never tried red bull and don't think it counts as recycled if you buy the cans just for the cans. though for this competition it doesn't look like you have to drink it yourself. does anyone have any empty red bull cans?  deadline is midnight april 6, 2008. and if you have limited time or... check out the creative and amazing works from the previous years in the gallery.

dwr champagne chair contest

winners receive a dwr gift card... that would be great, all I need to do is create an original miniature chair using only the foil, label, cage and cork from no more than two champagne bottles (which I have, because I was going to enter this last year!). oh, i almost forgot to mention the jan 7th deadline. here are the details
