a new look for sweet tooth designs?

I work alone which is great most of the time, but sometimes I miss the constructive feedback from creating in a collaborative team environment. like right now, so I am posting a rough draft of my new logotype design and requesting your feedback.

I do love my current visual identity system (website, blog, marketing materials etc.), but want to move away from the casual junior feel towards a refreshed look that reflects these attributes:

1) feminine (delicate and pretty)
2) modern (innovative, original, and fresh)
3) sophisticated (cosmopolitan, urban, cultured, polished, refined; elegant, stylish)
4) cool (like graffiti)

I definitely have my favorite, and I'm looking forward to your constructive feedback re: a new look for sweet tooth designs.

help needed for messy cables

not only do I still have about 50 boxes to unpack, the cables in front of my desk are out of control! it's also complicated by the fact my desk is now floating and not up against the wall where they are easier to hide.

here are a few links I've found:

LOL... ok my situation isn't looking so bad anymore! check out the 40 worst cable messes!  geekabout.com

what other options are out there for managing cables? did I mention that I am looking for a solution that looks really good too?

our studio is moving

I cringe at the thought of closing for a few days, but I think it will be better for both of us.  I wish I were writing that we'll be closed for summer vacation (wishful thinking) but we'll be closed because we're moving (which I am very excited about!).

here are the details:

closed: friday 7/18 - monday 7/28/08.

note: orders can still be placed now through thursday 7/17. all orders received on 7/18, through 7/28, 2008 will ship on tuesday 7/29/08 when we are settled into our new studio.

the go anywhere, freshen-up-your-scent mister

recently I received a satsuma glow klean mister in a gift bag. I usually give away these types of things, but I've heard so many great things about klean products that I kept this one for myself. I keep it in my studio (because this is where I spend most of my time), and not because I need to disguise a smell but because I can't get enough of the scent, it smells so light and refreshing. I know it's only july... but I am going to request a mist-of-the-month club for xmas (and not the 3 month but the 12 month club).
