I haven't had very much time to blog lately, I've been busy designing some new collections, and am finally ready to photograph one of the new collections.
after 2 months of the EZ cube sitting in a box in my studio, I finally had a chance to take it out of the box and try it. I decided test the set up by photographing my hand hammered hoops. feeling ambitious, I also decided to figure out how to photograph the jewelry on a white (NOT gray) background, which is much much harder than it seems. with a little help from the people at table top studio I think I've got it, and am pretty happy with the hoop photo below!!
of course there are a few more things I'd like to buy,that I think will help technically like a tripod with a boom arm, it's still out of stock :-(
