I have been using lynda.com as a software resource for over 7 years! I have created several websites including sweettoothdesigns.com from what I've learned with the online training. I'm a designer, a visual person, I learn best by watching someone actually show how something is done. so what could be better, and more convenient than a video right on my own computer (the books are also designed for visual people). but, I prefer the online videos, because it seems that the software versions change so fast, that the books and CDs only end up in landfill.
there are over 25,735 online videos, covering more than 371 topics... though I just use the site for the basics; photoshop, acrobat, flash, dreamweaver, and illustrator. however, my fingers are crossed that she adds software training for other blogging platforms.
oh, I almost forgot to mention that she offers free sample training!!!
I just had to share one of my all time favorite resources.
