as I create some new (and overdue) jewelry collections, I have a few questions running through my head. like; what type of person am I designing for? is she tall? short? what color hair? hair length? skin tone? does she like gold or silver? long necklaces or short? does she follow trends? or is she a trendsetter? or does she just do her own thing? or will this be a gift? and so on. so many things to consider...
one thing I do know for sure, is one of the biggest mistakes a designer can make. is trying to create something that will work for everyone. remember that not everything applies to everyone (as illustrated so well by this HSBC ad below). via
